My research focuses on implied-volatility surfaces, market microstructure, and how investors learn about event risk. Previously at Princeton (Operations Research & Financial Engineering, 2023) and Duke (Economics & Computation, 2025). Outside research I compete in the pole vault for Norway: 15th at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and finalist at the 2026 World Indoor Championships.
